Question 1

How does GloveGuild work?

Accepted Answer

GloveGuild is an online store for CS2 skins. You sign in with Steam, save your Steam trade link, choose an item on the market and pay for it by card. Once the payment succeeds, our trade bot sends the item to you through a Steam trade offer that you accept on Steam. GloveGuild is the merchant of record for every purchase.

Question 2

Why do I need to connect my Steam account, and why isn't trading available right away?

Accepted Answer

Steam authentication and a saved Steam trade link are required so we can deliver the items you buy. Some Steam accounts can't receive trades straight away because of a trade hold, security waiting period or verification check, for example after a password reset, a new device or setting up Steam Guard. These restrictions are applied by Steam on its side and are outside GloveGuild' control.

Question 3

Who can use GloveGuild?

Accepted Answer

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. GloveGuild may ask for proof of age or identity verification at any time, and access will be restricted if you're found to be underage or in a sanctioned or restricted location.

Question 4

How are payments processed? Does GloveGuild hold my money?

Accepted Answer

Each purchase is a single card payment for a single item. You pay by Visa or Mastercard, with 3D Secure verification, on a hosted payment page run by an authorized third-party payment provider, and GloveGuild acts as merchant of record for the transaction. GloveGuild does not keep a stored balance for you: there are no funds to add in advance, and you only pay for the item you've chosen.

Question 5

How will I receive the skin I bought?

Accepted Answer

After your payment succeeds, our trade bot sends the item to the trade link you saved, as a Steam trade offer. Open Steam or the Steam mobile app and accept the offer. You have about 15 minutes to accept it, so it's best to stay available right after paying.

Question 6

What happens if I don't accept the trade offer in time?

Accepted Answer

If the trade offer expires, is declined, or the item can't be delivered for another reason, contact support at support@gloveguild.com with your order details. Support will review the order and let you know the next steps.

Question 7

Can I get a refund after a purchase?

Accepted Answer

Once an item has been delivered and you've accepted the trade offer, the purchase is final. If a paid purchase can't be delivered, for example because the trade offer was declined or expired or the item became unavailable, contact support. Refunds are handled by support and, when approved, returned to your original payment method.

Question 8

What items can't be traded on GloveGuild?

Accepted Answer

Prohibited items include stolen or fraudulently obtained items, items from compromised or restricted accounts, items under an ownership dispute or chargeback, Steam account credentials or account rentals, game keys, gift cards, subscription codes, cryptocurrencies or NFTs, and items from any gaming ecosystem not expressly supported by the platform.

Question 9

What happens if I have a dispute or think something went wrong with a trade?

Accepted Answer

You can contact support at support@gloveguild.com. GloveGuild reviews disputes using available technical evidence, such as trade logs, API data, timestamps and payment records. Where delivery is already confirmed through these records, related refund or reversal claims are generally not granted. You may be asked for extra information such as screenshots or transaction references.

Question 10

Can my account be suspended, and why?

Accepted Answer

Yes. GloveGuild can restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts (sometimes without prior notice) for reasons like suspected fraud, chargebacks, account compromise, prohibited items, market manipulation, multi-accounting, use of bots or scripts, or breaches of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or Acceptable Use Policy. You remain responsible for any obligations or disputes that arose before the suspension.
