1. Introduction and Purpose
This Acceptable Use and Prohibited Items Policy ("Policy") applies to all users of the Platform and forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. The purpose of this Policy is to establish the rules governing the use of the Platform, define the categories of permitted and prohibited activities, and identify the types of digital items that may or may not be offered, purchased, sold, transferred, or otherwise used through the Services.
The Platform operates as a digital item trading platform for supported virtual in-game items associated with approved gaming ecosystems. The Platform must not be used for any activity outside this intended scope.
In order to maintain a secure, lawful, and commercially responsible trading environment, the Company applies reasonable controls designed to prevent misuse of the Platform, fraudulent activity, artificial transactions, unauthorised use of accounts or payment methods, technical abuse, and other conduct that may create legal, operational, financial, reputational, or security risks.
Users may access and use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with this Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable laws, third-party platform requirements, and the legitimate operation of the Platform.
Any use of the Platform that is inconsistent with this Policy may result in restrictions, transaction reviews, account limitations, suspension of Services, cancellation or reversal of transactions, withholding of payouts, termination of access, or other measures deemed reasonably necessary by the Company.
2. Acceptable Use of the Platform
The Platform may be used solely for lawful transactions involving supported digital in-game items made available through approved gaming ecosystems and supported by the technical infrastructure of the Platform.
All digital items offered, transferred, purchased, or sold through the Platform must be lawfully owned or lawfully controlled by the user initiating the relevant transaction. Users must have the legal right and technical ability to transfer the relevant digital items through the applicable gaming infrastructure and associated trading systems.
The Platform may be used only for genuine commercial or personal trading activity involving supported digital items. Users must not engage in artificial, misleading, deceptive, abusive, or non-genuine activity designed to manipulate transactions, prices, trading volumes, user behaviour, platform functionality, or any other aspect of the Services.
The Platform may only be used in connection with supported gaming ecosystems, supported digital items, and authorised user accounts. Any use of the Platform for activities unrelated to the legitimate purchase, sale, transfer, or receipt of supported digital items is prohibited.
The Company reserves the right to determine whether particular use of the Platform is consistent with its intended purpose and may apply restrictions, reviews, or other measures where activity appears inconsistent with this Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable legal requirements, or the legitimate operation of the Services.
3. Eligibility of Items and Transactions
Only supported digital in-game items that can be lawfully transferred through the applicable gaming platform may be listed, offered, purchased, sold, or transferred through the Platform.
Users may only transact digital items that they lawfully own or otherwise have the legal right to transfer. Digital items must be free from known ownership disputes, transfer restrictions, account-related limitations, or other circumstances that may prevent lawful completion of a transaction.
Only digital items originating from gaming ecosystems expressly supported by the Platform may be used through the Services.
The Company reserves the right to determine whether a digital item or transaction is eligible for use on the Platform and may refuse, restrict, suspend, cancel, or reverse any transaction that does not comply with this Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable laws, or relevant third-party platform requirements.
4. Prohibited Items
The Platform may not be used to list, offer, purchase, sell, transfer, or otherwise transact any item that is unlawful, unauthorised, ineligible for transfer, or inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Services.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, digital items that have been stolen, fraudulently obtained, acquired through unauthorised access, account compromise, technical exploitation, payment fraud, or any other unlawful means; digital items originating from compromised, hacked, restricted, suspended, or unauthorised accounts; and digital items that are subject to ownership disputes, chargebacks, investigations, claims, reversals, or other unresolved disputes.
The following are also prohibited: Steam accounts, gaming accounts, account credentials, account access rights, account rentals, or any other account-related products; game activation keys, software licences, subscription codes, gift cards, vouchers, prepaid cards, promotional codes, or similar products; cryptocurrencies, crypto-assets, tokens, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), digital currencies, virtual currencies, or any blockchain-based assets; digital items associated with gaming ecosystems that are not expressly supported by the Platform; and any item the transfer, possession, purchase, sale, or use of which may violate applicable laws, third-party platform rules, intellectual property rights, or contractual restrictions.
The Company reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether a particular item is eligible for use on the Platform and may remove listings, suspend transactions, restrict accounts, withhold payouts, or take any other measures reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in any activity that undermines the integrity, security, lawful operation, or intended purpose of the Platform.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, any form of fraud, attempted fraud, deceptive conduct, misrepresentation, or unlawful activity; chargeback abuse, payment disputes submitted in bad faith, unauthorised payment reversals, or misuse of consumer protection mechanisms; and the use of payment methods, payment accounts, cards, banking credentials, financial instruments, Steam accounts, gaming accounts, credentials, or access rights belonging to another person without proper authorisation.
Account sharing, account renting, account leasing, account resale, account transfers, or any other unauthorised account-related activity is prohibited.
Market manipulation, price manipulation, wash trading, self-trading, circular trading, coordinated transactions between related accounts, artificial transactions, or any conduct intended to create a false or misleading appearance of trading activity, transaction history, pricing, volume, payouts, platform metrics, or user activity is prohibited.
The use of the Platform to transfer value between related persons, related accounts, cooperating parties, or otherwise connected users where the primary purpose is not a genuine transaction involving supported digital items is prohibited. The Platform may not be used to facilitate the movement of funds, cash-out activity, value transfer arrangements, or other transactions unrelated to legitimate digital item trading.
The use of the Platform as a payment service, money transfer service, remittance service, settlement mechanism, financial intermediary, or any similar service intended to transfer, route, receive, store, exchange, or distribute funds outside the intended scope of the Services is strictly prohibited.
Attempts to bypass, circumvent, manipulate, or interfere with any restrictions, review procedures, transaction controls, account limitations, security measures, fraud prevention systems, rate limits, API controls, or operational safeguards implemented by the Company or applicable third-party platforms are prohibited.
The use of bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers, automated trading tools, automated data collection tools, spam tools, or similar technologies to access, monitor, extract data from, interact with, or use the Platform without the Company's prior written authorisation is prohibited.
Any attempt to disrupt, overload, damage, test, penetrate, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its systems, infrastructure, databases, APIs, security measures, or related services is prohibited.
The upload, transmission, distribution, or use of malicious software, malware, viruses, corrupted files, harmful code, or any other material intended to compromise the security, integrity, availability, or proper operation of the Platform is prohibited.
The Company reserves the right to investigate suspected prohibited activity and to suspend accounts, cancel transactions, withhold payouts, restrict access to the Services, or take any other measures reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users, and its business partners.
6. Steam Account Requirements
Users may use the Platform only in connection with Steam accounts that they lawfully own or are otherwise authorised to use.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their Steam accounts remain active, secure, and capable of completing trades through Steam's trading infrastructure. Any restrictions, limitations, suspensions, trade holds, security reviews, or other measures imposed by Steam may affect the availability of certain Platform services.
Users must comply with all applicable Steam rules, policies, requirements, and security measures, including any requirements relating to Steam Guard, trade verification, account security, account eligibility, and trading functionality.
Users are solely responsible for maintaining the security of their Steam accounts, login credentials, authentication methods, devices, and Steam Trade URLs. The Company is not responsible for losses arising from unauthorised access to a user's Steam account, compromised credentials, account misuse, or actions performed through the user's Steam account.
The Platform may not be used in connection with stolen, hacked, compromised, shared, rented, purchased, transferred, or otherwise unauthorised Steam accounts.
7. Platform Monitoring and Review
The Company may monitor transactions, listings, account activity, trading patterns, and other use of the Platform where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity, security, and proper operation of the Services.
The Company may review digital items, transactions, account activity, payment activity, trading behaviour, and related information where there are reasonable grounds to investigate suspected fraud, prohibited activity, technical issues, disputes, security concerns, or violations of this Policy.
Users may be requested to provide additional information or clarification relating to specific transactions, digital items, account activity, or use of the Platform where reasonably necessary to complete an internal review.
8. Enforcement Measures
The Company may take any action reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy, protect the Platform, prevent misuse of the Services, or address suspected prohibited activity.
Such measures may include the removal of listings, cancellation or reversal of transactions, temporary restrictions on account functionality, suspension of access to the Platform, delays or withholding of payouts, account review, or permanent termination of access to the Services.
The Company is not required to provide advance notice before applying restrictions where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users, business partners, or the integrity of the Services.
The application of any measure under this Policy shall not limit any other rights or remedies available to the Company under the Terms of Service or applicable law.
9. Records and Cooperation
The Company may maintain records relating to transactions, listings, account activity, communications, technical logs, and enforcement actions where reasonably necessary for operational, security, dispute resolution, legal, or business purposes.
The Company may cooperate with payment service providers, banks, gaming platforms, service providers, law enforcement authorities, regulators, and other authorised parties where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, prohibited activity, security incidents, disputes, violations of this Policy, or other matters affecting the integrity and lawful operation of the Platform.
Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, a lawful request from a competent authority, contractual obligations, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users, business partners, or the Company's legitimate interests.
